EMBRACING THE WHOLE,  WELCOMING THE NEW!
LEARN FOCUSING

Focusing is a practice and a skill that many people do innately to varying degrees and that anyone can learn.

We have information here on our own website and also suggest that you look at the site for The International Focusing Institute (TIFI).  The Institute is the International certifying body and the central hub for all teachers and resources.

For discussion about what Focusing is, check out our own "What is Focusing" page, or the page for newcomers at TIFI.

If you want to develop your ability to Focus, there are lessons and small-group workshops available in person, and by phone and videoconference all over the world. We suggest you work with a teacher whose training is recognized by The International Focusing Institute. These teachers are called either Certified Focusing Trainers or Certified Focusing Professionals (CFTs or CFPs; there is no difference).

We maintain a list of people certified to teach who live in the NYC metro area and who have asked us to include them, here.  You can access the global list at TIFI's site, here.

If you wish to go further in your training and become certified yourself, look for teachers called Certifying Coordinators who run the kind of in-depth program that certification requires.
