Program:  Finding our Way Forward into the New Year
facilitated by Susan Deisroth and Jude Cobb

For many this New Year brings daunting issues, personally, politically, and in the world.   In this workshop we will get in touch with what was meaningful to us in this past year and with what wants to be carried forward.   We will also sense into what is emerging freshly, allowing space for exploring fears, hopes, and challenges.

This evening’s facilitators:

Susan Deisroth, LCSW, is a Focusing Oriented Relational Psychotherapist and is currently studying with Lynn Preston.  She completed her Focusing Training with Robert Lee and Wholebody Focusing Training with Kevin McEvenue and Karen Whalen.  Susan maintains a private therapy practice in New York City.

Jude Cobb, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist, psychoanalyst and couples therapist in private practice in New York City. She is a Certified Focusing Practitioner, and a faculty member and supervisor for the Focusing Oriented Relational Psychotherapy (FORP) program in New York. She teaches and presents workshops in her areas of interest in relationality, multiple self states and trauma.

Suggested Contribution:  $20 to cover rental and refreshment expenses.
Cash only please, since we are not able to take credit cards or checks.

NEW YORK METRO FOCUSING
NY Metro Focusing meetings offer an opportunity to engage in a felt sensing, interactive exploration of topics of interest.  We value diversity and welcome everyone’s voice.  Our conversational process encourages slowing down, listening from a felt sensing place, and letting what we hear resonate within to bring something new and fresh, both within ourselves and within the group.
