FELT SENSE AND BEGINNER’S MIND
Facilitated by Serge Prengel, LMHC
This is an experiential workshop geared to all levels: Experienced Focusers, people who don’t know much about Focusing, and everybody in-between. We will be looking at Focusing with a “beginner’s mind” perspective, to connect with the natural process on which Focusing is based. We will playfully explore this process that is part of human nature, allowing it to unfold into the many forms that it can take to create deeper forms of connection, self-discovery, and creativity.
This new perspective on the Felt Sense and Focusing will be communicated through a series of experiences that will progressively guide you to formulate your own conceptual understanding of the process. The workshop will include opportunities for self-exploration, for experiential work in pairs, and for group process in a safe, stimulating and respectful environment.
This evening’s facilitator:
Serge Prengel, LMHC, is certified in Focusing, in Core Energetics and in Somatic Experiencing. His approach is experiential and integrative; he aims for deep insights that are action-oriented. He is the editor of Somatic Perspectives on Psychotherapy and has been hosting the Focusing Institute’s "Conversations" series for the past 3 years.
