TRANSCENDENT EXPERIENCING with
MUSIC AND FOCUSING
Experience and Explore the Felt Sense of Music in Stimulating and Varied Shapes, Rhythms and Melodies in an Evening of Focusing and Music.
A talented group from our focusing community will bring us an evening of performance, participation, listening from the heart and focusing to welcome in the New Year. Joan Lavender and Naomi Glicken will guide us through our musical evening featuring: Justin Jacobs on piano Katya Salkinder in song Monika Gos with recorded violin Jan Rudd and Larry Hurst with Experiments in Sound
Musicians will also share their experience of making music. Listen, think, enjoy and participate in whatever way your Felt Sense says is right for you.
Join together in our community to celebrate the beginning of the New Year!
Also, enjoy our FOCUSING COMMUNITY MARKETPLACE led by Judith Cobb: In a lively exchange with others in our community, this is a time and place to share your Focusing projects, workshops and trainings and to let us know what other goods and services you have to offer. Bring your flyers and brochures for our literature table.
Please I N V I T E F R I E N D S and C O L L E A G U E S While NY Metro Focusing Meetings are not introductions to Focusing, we hope newcomers get a little taste of the Focusing experience and are motivated to learn more by taking an Introduction to Focusing workshop.
Suggested Contribution: $20 To cover rental and refreshment expenses
Those new to Focusing are our guests for their first NYMF meeting
Cash only please since we are not able to take credit cards or checks.
Dates of Future NYMF Meetings: March 27 - Elizabeth Lehmann presenting “Restoring Connection”
June 12, September 18, and November 13.
These are all Friday evenings. If we can find adequate space, we would like to reschedule one or two of these meetings to Sundays so those who are unable to attend on Fridays also have a chance to participate with us. Stay tuned for future announcements.
